Found My Groove

I feel that things are finally starting to come together, I'm finding my groove, it's just the matter of working out what to do first, with most things!

A few weeks ago I decided a domain would be the first thing to do (www.cocoa-pod.com) because that is something that I could miss out on. For the first 24 hours of it being mine I was forever typing in my address watching it convert to my online store. I forgot that it will be included in its stats. Oops! Edit for those looking for the best place to get a domain, although I bought mine 'local', I was thinking about getting it from Crazy Domains (Australian, yay!). There's also Go Daddy, but there seems to be mixed feelings on them.

Now I am working on my studio. Or rather, it is being 'ikearised'! You can't work if you can't walk, you know. :p Will take photos once I am done, which won't be offically done until probably March, as my rolling doors won't be coming in until then. I will be buying these Swedish sweets with the doors, as I seem to have the logic that you need them to put together ikea wardrobes. Organization, here I come! (But will I stay for long? ;)

For organization inspiration you might want to have a lookie-loo at Pretty Organized, which is a flickr group.

hello renee - thanks for your advice on the post! heheh.. congratulations on your new blog - it looks great!

hmm.. i have been wondering about a domain too.

You did good - I heard tell GoDaddy's not so great - they have fine print that will be hard if you want to switch to someone else - so you don't really won the domain.

It is always good to come across fellow Aussies blogging :-)

Have you heard of the new Aussie Bloggers Forum? I am really enjoying being a part of them, meeting other friendly and helpful Aussie bloggers and learning blogging tips. It's a great way to promote your blog too.

There is a blogroll of Aussie Bloggers on the blog attached to the forums too. The instructions for adding your blog are on the blogroll page itself.

We would love to see you there if you care to join :-)
